“Measured” is a podcast that explores how we measure the things that shape our world. Hosted by Dr. Nelson Guda, writer, artist and former scientist, and his (somewhat recently discovered) biological daughter, Gracie Ann Fischer, biology graduate student at the University of Arizona. Measure is a podcast where we interview scientists and experts in diverse fields about how we measure things, because measuring things is how we understand everything - from ecology and virology to climate and earth history to engineering and astronomy. Each episode delves into the tools, methods, and stories behind the measurements that help us understand our changing planet, our health, and our future. The goal of the podcast is to use knowledge to combat misinformation and growing scientific illiteracy.
